The interpreter will log in from a dedicated studio or another location to interpret remotely and will perform connection tests and review how to use the system in advance. A hybrid seminar with simultaneous interpretation is a format in which a seminar and webinar are held simultaneously by remotely connecting the physical venue, online speakers, audience members, and interpreters. Multiple cameras are set up at the venue in order for the speaker’s face to be visible on the screen at all times. The translated audio can be obtained using Zoom’s simultaneous interpretation feature or by listening on a separate device such as a smartphone. Similar to webinars, we will arrange for interpreters who have extensive experience in seminar interpretation and are familiar with the subject matter. The interpreter will log in from a dedicated studio or another location to interpret remotely and will perform connection tests and review how to use the system in advance.
